RB Chris "Beanie" Wells (All B1G, All-American)

is it saturday yet... im sick of all the speculation... he goes or he doesn't... the game has been on our d controlling their o since the beginning... having beanie would be great, but its on the shoulders of our D.

someone should start a vbet on the number of snaps/yards Beanie has.

'cuz I would say in the game for 42 plays; 21 rushing attempts, 143 yards.

Oy vay, if I'm wrong I hope he EXCEEDS these numbers...

Anyway, yes, it's a serious injury but he will be able to prepare for it ---- take a shot, warm it up, and then just mentally block it out.

Somebody teach him some Lamaze techniques, quick! :tongue2:

I have seen some buckeye "fans" question his toughness on message boards and even on the radio, where one fan called Beanie...."tin man"......I hope these so called fans realize that Beanie played injured most of last year and I for one was proud of his committment to his team.

People that are close to Beanie insist if it is humanly possible for him to play, he will play......

There's a reason these "fans" are on the keyboard, while this supposed "tin man" is on the field (injured or not).

Most, if not all players play injured.

If I recall, Coach Tressel himself said last year that Chris needed to "suck it up" a bit.

Update from Mike & Mike in the morning (surprised this hasn't been posted yet). They just spoke live with Tressel. JT said right now he would still say "doubtful", and that it will be a gametime decision, but did go so far as to say that Beanie will either play "a little or not at all". Not sounding good...doesn't sound like there's much chance that he will see 20+ carries.

ON ESPN FIRST TAKE, they were talking to Thomas , a writer for the ABJ, WHO IS A FAT TOOL. HE just said the same stuff being brought up here but, thinks he'll try to play,
About Thomas he was the tool that compared PRYOR to clarett in the ABJ. He hates me but, he's afraid of a hospital visit:)

that was last year, slipper slope folks. im not sure with information available to the public that its a conversation at this point that we should have. if he plays, he plays. if he is deemed medically unable to perform, they he doesn't play. if he is in between there and we know thats the truth then well thats for another day when we have that information...

Beanie hasn't practiced much at all. Tressel always says; "You don't practice, you don't play!" Do not expect to see him play. :(
Are you serious?
JT when asked why Chris didn't play in the scrimmage said:
"Chris (not playing) was probably a coach's decision," Tressel said. "As in the head coach. I've seen Beanie. He's pretty good."

I'm sure JT can make an exception here.... after all, Beanie's pretty good.
