Then it falls into the rumor/propaganda/innuendo category.Frohlich;1257282; said:People have "sources" that can't be revealed... or a ".com" board that has great inside scoop like buckeye planet
I tend to agree with you. I 'm certainly no doctor, coach or whatever but I would think that unless it's an injury that could lead to further complications if he plays and reaggravates it, he'll play. Just another opinion on the subject.BuckeyeMac;1257287; said:I have no doubts that he will play.....I just think it's so uncharacteristic of JT to reveal injury status. That and I just don't see this kid staying out of such a big game unless he is unable to run at all

Apparently Cowherd said on his show earlier, attributed to an "OSU inside source" something to the effect that:
"Tressel is saying that Beanie is hurt so they can have a built in excuse, so when they win the rest of their games they can make their claim to get in the title game because their only loss will have been on the raod without their best player."
Yertle;1257322; said:Wow, this has potential to be one of the best Buckeye stories of all time!!! If I believed in jinxes, I wouldn't point it out, but just imagine the stories we will tell 20+ years from now....
Beanie Wells fought off a horrible toe injury to come in a score the winning touchdown over the top ranked Trojans!!! This win catapulted Ohio State to their second national championship of the decade and practically sealed up the Heisman in the third week of the season!
My grandkids are going to hear about 9/13/08 so often that they will dread coming to visit!
No worries.
