[quote='BusNative;125619;8]Eh, I just wanted to post a graphic.

FYI - she really, really hopes that Beanie plays.

Pollyanna here spreading sunshine again.

Not buying the misinformation theory.

Does anyone really believe USC has the kind of D that needs to compromise itself to account for Beanie Wells? Do we think the one or two kids who aren't All American candidates will be confused by all this? OSU has put nothing on film that would cause USC to do anything but play us straight up - with or without Beanie.

After anticipating this game for a year and having last week off if anybody thinks USC will come into this game with any level of complacency you are dreaming. Pete Carroll has not lost a game by more than 7 points in the past 6 years. His teams ALWAYS show up.

OSU needs to show up, play D, and not make mistakes. That was true before and is true now.

There's a thread on the scout board about it, but I can't find any solid proof if he really said it or not. Don't know what to really think now anyway.

After hearing from "reliable sources" that he would play against OU, and then from Tressel that he would definitely play against USC multiple times, then hearing he was doing very well, then all of a sudden he's doubtful...and know he's going to play through it????

I'm waiting till gametime. If Wells can play, it's gravy, if not, OSU still has a game, a season, and a football program. Just do your best guys. :oh:

Thanks. I'm getting dizzy and I think I may vomit. :io:

From Scout:

The final decision will be a medical one, Tressel said.

This should refute any suggestions that it is Beanie's call. The only way he can influence the decision is by trying to deceive the doctors.

Can't imagine any responsible coach approaching it any other way.

I'm no Doctor but soreness must indicate that further injury is taking place or could take place by playing, otherwise I'd hope he'd play if the risk was that he would be a little sore afterwards, or even alot sore

If him playing was truly his decision (means it is safe) which some have alluded to, I sure hope he would choose to play......this is football right?

well like last year's injury he was in pain, but it really couldn't worsen (from what i remember). so i take it this one probably can get worse.
