Local media hack John Kincaid, on 680 "the Fan" in Atlanta this afternoon on the radio says...
"Tressel says Beanie's doubtful so that when they lose, they have a built in excuse, saying they lost without their best player, and then once they go through the Big Ten like a hot knife through butter, they'll be a one loss team with a built in excuse"
I wanted to call in and say that only a weasel would come up with this theory, there are 11 guys on the fieldm and do you mean excuses like, "We lost to two mediocre teams, but in triple-overtime," but it really isn't worth the time, because I've listened to him before and even the tone in his voice was assholish. Usually he isn't this bad, even Buck Belue, the UGA NC winning QB in 1980, said that Tressel was just playing the cards that he's been dealt and didn't agree with this horrendous theory.
You can tell the media is really stretching to keep the hype continued, after everyone has heard about it for two weeks.
Thing is, even if the team does win without Beanie, it just shows how deep and talented the team is. Why wouldn't you want your best on the field at any time possible? Why would you want to lose this game? Shut the [censored] up John Kincaid. First caller, of course loud ass, big mouth first caller is talking and agreeing with this stupid thought.
