RB Chris "Beanie" Wells (All B1G, All-American)

Ohio U is going to get a healthy dose of Boom and Mo.

That'd be fine by me, Boom looked to do his best running out of the I or other two back, Mo out of the Pistol and other single back formations. I can deal with that, it's not exactly like we have to resort to Michael Shaw and Sam "Jumpy" McGuffie. I'm happy with the options we have.

Hey, "Youtube Sensation" Sam McGuffie.

If an announcer can get through a McGuffie game this season without mentioning hurdling or Youtube in terms of describing the tailback, I'll be surprised.

Can't wait to see what the three tailbacks can do this Saturday.

I love beanie and this is nothing against him, bc I love to watch him stiffarm someones facemask off, but it will also be fun to see who on this team wants to step up and be the susperstar.

Me too  I heard people complaining in the crowd when Mo came in against YSU but he looked like a different back on saturday by staying on his feet a little better. It would be great for him to make a statement just giving SC one more thing to plan for.

I'll be at the game Saturday but I'm glad to know Beanie will not play. There's no need to rush him back for the Bobcats. If we can't beat them without Beanie we have other problems.

I'm looking forward to seeing the other backs, then seeing Beanie against the Trojans.

I don't know how bad Wells' injury is, but having been the victim of a number of injuries which I thought were "healed" only reaggravate the minute I did some physical activity, I laud Tressel for giving him some rest and I laud Wells for taking it like a man even though I know he wants to play.
I'm currently nursing a very slight hamstring pull that I thought was fine, only to go out for my daily jog, which I had suspended for a few days, and repull it. Great!
Although my injury is nothing like Wells' but I'm just saying that any type of lingering injury is ANNOYING!!!

Man, I'm pissed. I just saw ESPN throw up the clip of Beanie's injury play on the friggin montage outro to a commercial break like it was a damn highlight. I'm just getting tired of seeing it 5 times a day. Show his best runs from last year to show the impact his absence makes, fuckers.

That's OK. Let's keep an injured Beanie on the front of the minds' of the SC players. The more that they keep seeing the replay of the injury, the more they start to believe that 'he must be hurt!'. Their players are already aggressively incorrect about what's about to happen next weekend. They are salivating for kickoff. I think if they believe Beanie is still hurt, it can only do good things for the good guys.

As it is, USC gets an extra week to prepare for us. Keeping Beanie out and staying mum on his injury means during all that preparation, they don't know what's going to happen. The way I figure, it's better that our opponents have to predict two game plans, one with Beanie and one without, than to let them know if Beanie's going to be in.

Because if Beanie's not 100%, then the game film anyone has on us is completely worthless.

USC knows what is going to happen.
