Believe Snow did that in the famous "Earle" headband game. With Spielman
leading the way on "D".
"Signing with Ohio State University, Snow battled through injuries (including hip surgery) to finish his career 6th on the all-time rushing list at Ohio State with 2,974 yards from 1987 to 1991."

I was wondering, too, how snow came back and found some extra eligibility at the age of 32 and ran amok against scUM in '98...

In the headband game, I know he had a 63-yard or so screen pass for a TD to turn the tide in the third quarter ( I was there, telling my Mich friends, watch out for Carlos Snow) but I don't think he had a 170 yards rushing that day....

anyone know for sure??

That would give him at least 230 all-purpose yards....

So I'm thinking maybe in 1988 he ran for 170 in Columbus???

The Earle headband game was 1987, the 1988 game Snow had 170 rushing yards and 252 all purpose yards. The all purpose yards mark is still an OSU record vs scUM.

I saw Chris Wells

(just can't bring myself to call him Beanie) for the 1st time in the AAA Game in San Antonio and he was the most dominate kid I have EVER seen in that game! I knew he was special and was jealous he was an OSU lock! He scares me more than any other weapon in the Buckeye arsenal. I also have seen a couple of other games you guys have played this year and appreciate your depth at RB. Very similar to our depth but I will give ya'll (yes that's how we say it... We know it's not proper but get used to it in New Orleans) the advantage b/c of how talented CW is! The kid reminds me of a healthy Adrian Peterson and perhaps he is even better. Barring injury he is going to be a Heisman Candidate next year!
