RB Chris "Beanie" Wells (All B1G, All-American)

Don't need Beanie...

I mean, I hope he gets 150 yards today before the game is locked, but I don't want Beanie to carry the ball 35 times today izz all I'm sayin'...

I would like to see several passing TDs, a TD by the D, several people spreading the rushing yardage, so Beanie stays fresh.

Yep, he COULD explode for two bills today --- just hoping it's not needed like it was against MSU and Wisky.
Hoe cool would it be to see Dionte score a rushing TD today?

Blowouts are nice!

Go Bucks - Just win, baby!

We go as beanie goes, and Beanie was not given the ball enough for him to make his print as he has the last 4 weeks. GAMEPAN right there....

I know Boeckman has surpassed expectations, and has come out throwing in all games this year but what we've been doing the last few weeks is not OSU football. They want Boeckman to be Troy smith and sling the ball around all over the place, and what should be done is having Boeckman throw when needed. We're throwing the ball far too much right now. Somehow it always seems to be a great Idea for the first drive then teams adjust and we keep doing something that has been adjusted to. One of the bucknut writers (helwagen maybe?) said what I'm thinking. Our coaches tend to beat their heads against a wall when it comes to game planning! It takes us a while to adjust (usually going from passing to rushing) and it's so frustrating thinking what Beanie could do if he's giv en the chance to show what he can do all game instead of 2 quarters. Think MSU here...

It hurt after that Boeckman scramble.. 28-21.. i thought it was time to ride Beanie.. instead the throw into double coverage and the offense never touched the ball again..

Too bad.. u could tell on our scoring drive that Beanie was getting it going.. sometimes he starts a little slow, but u can tell when he gets in the groove.. he looked like that on his TD run.. too bad we couldnt ride him

Beanie seemed to be the one of the few that showed up on offense today. OLine sucked much of the game, WRs couldn't get open (I'm guessing, you can't see during the game), aside from rushing, Boeckman was bad. On top of that, Beanie seemed to be dealing with at least two injuries. Maybe that's why they didn't ride him as much, but last week was very similar to this one.

Yea at times, it looks like he runs up their backs too much, and doesnt have the whole timing of the play down.. at other times he looks like a perfect back.. he does get stronger late though, and seems to get that timing down..

On a negative note, how bout that pitch he dropped.. just another mistake we couldnt afford to make in this game

And when his offensive line is getting pushed into the backfield, he'll run into his blockers from time to time.

Look he's a young runner. I don't think any of the recent good to great RBs were at this stage by the time they were sophomores (I won't count MoC :p ).

He's still learning the game. Most of his offensive line will be back next year. Beanie is nicked up but still gets most of the tough yards. Let's take it easy on the guy please.....he and/or Mo Wells were the best offensive Buckeyes out there today.

When I look at Beanie, I see a runner like Ced Benson -- he just gets better as the game goes on.

Beanie's second halves are key. He's such a warrior. He should have kept getting the ball after we ran it 4 times in a row out of the I formation for the touchdown. Beanie is going to be incredible.

Beanie really is a warrior. I was at the game yesterday, and came away very impressed with his ability to bounce back from injuries and to step up when we need him.

His 2nd TD was a HUGE momentum booster for the team and the stadium. Boeckman's INT on our following possesion really ended the game, because after Beanie had started to put the team on his back and looked like he would lead us to victory.

I can't fault the coaches, because they have brought the team to where they are, but that INT hurt big time.
