RB Carlos "El Guapo" Hyde (Official Thread)

It truly felt like Herman had a gameplan, but it wasn't working and ironically our bread and butter was. But instead of sticking with it, he went back to the gameplan. Just.....hard to believe. So many times fans say they could have called a better game, and 99.9% of the time it's idiotic. I could have called a better game. It's called run hyde, run.

When things got tight for Alabama in the last few years and they leaned on te run and found lanes consistantly, they stayed with them over and over and over, demoralized the opposition and hit them up high. This game showed me we don't have a head coach on the same level. I don't care what was coming from up top, filter it down to what is working until they stop it. You take your most reliable force and send him out wide, copletely out of the picture and leave Miller by himself. Well MSU sure thanked them for simplifying their thought process. This enraged me each time they did it and I knew they were going to lose the game if they did it again, and of course, they did.

Urban Meyer not on "the same level" as Nick Saban?

You're suffering from the delusion that the most recent result defines the comparison. Urban will have the Buckeyes back on top very quickly. The sky has not fallen.

Gotta agree with Wham on this one. Poor coaching decisions definitely cost us a shot at the National Championship this year. I'll never forgive Urban for fighting the refs to have that lousy last second put back on the clock, then sending our iffy kicker out to attempt an astronomically long FG without even bothering to remind the kicking team that it's bad to let an opposing player return the ball for a touchdown. Saban would never have done anything so foolish. Wish he was our coach.
