RB Carlos "El Guapo" Hyde (Official Thread)

From that:

Dallas Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray was the sixth running back chosen in the 2011 draft. He has racked up more yards on the ground than the first three backs selected that year combined.

And Murray doesn't even average 15 touches a game because Jason Garrett and Bill Callahan are morons with no grasp of basic clock management.

I'd like to see Miami grab their OT in the first round and then Carlos in the second round in this draft coming up. Would be a great fit with a young QB and developing Offense.
No no no no no.. The Browns need a back like Carlos desperately. He needs to be picked up by the Browns somewhere in the first round. Carlos is that kind of back.

Teams that could really use a RB(as a pure starter or becaus they currently have an aging starter):
Oakland
NY giants
Jacksonville
Carolina (deangelo needs help)
San Francisco (frank gore is getting quite old and beat up)
St Louis
CincinnAti
Baltimore
Atlanta
Cleveland

Carlos has some good options, and can make a number of teams better. Combined with a current RB at those teams, Carlos could flourish and possibly supplant, or make a pretty good 1-2 punch for teams like cincy and Carolina

The list is fine but in todays NFL the running back has been devalued. Lacy wasn't a first rounder..I don't know if the teams in the top half of the draft taking a RB that high but Atlanta San Fran and Seatlle(Older and well used Lynch) might take a flyer on Hyde. San Fran has Lattimore red shirting..but Hyde will be fine wherever he goes.

I don't see Hyde going in the first round, as most rbs don't anymore based on what you stated. Imo, these were thr possible best fits for carlos. And I agree he'll be fine anywhere, I just thought he'd fit great in these offenses.

I don't think Cinci will be looking for a running back...at least in the first 3 rounds. They have Gio who is a stud and Green-Ellis under contract for 1 more year. I could see the drafting for depth in the later rounds. If Carlos is there in rounds 4-6 they would probably grab him. They need a thunder to Gio's lightning but I just don't see them picking up someone in the early rounds.
