RB Carlos "El Guapo" Hyde (Official Thread)

Most college students don't have that kind of money. It would at least raise questions as to where the money came from.

EDIT: Especially when one of his tweets (now removed) said - ?I?m doing better than I EVER did! Now I can give big bills to my relatives!?

I understand how it would raise eyebrows, but it's all speculation at this point. No law or policy is broken here.

It should raise eyebrows just as his driving a new Mercedes would. The kid is flashing $1,000+ and is bragging about how he now can give money to his family.

No law is broken if there is no arrest/fine/ticket. Yet Hyde is suspended and this kid is not. No policy was broken as Meyer has said, had he been charged, he would have been off the team according to policy, yet Hyde is suspended, and this kid is not.

Uh, no. Meyer's policy of "just walk away" was not followed, as he explicitly has said several times including on two separate ESPN shows yesterday (the Cowturd show and the one with Joe Peskydork and Desmond "Fuck You" Howard...

I stand corrected on that one then.

RB Carlos Hyde (6-0, 242, 4.56)
The Buckeyes leader in rushing touchdowns last season, Hyde is well-built from head to toe and is at his best running with a head of steam, lowering his pads and pounding forward. He tends to have an identity crisis at times, not breaking as many tackles as expected, but can also turn on the jets when he needs to win the edge. Hyde, who will miss the first three games of 2013 due to an off-field incident, isn't an early round type of prospect but certainly draftable.

Hyde also coping well

Like Roby, running back Carlos Hyde is responding properly to his suspension, his position coach said.

?Carlos is doing well,? running backs coach Stan Drayton said last week.
?He?s forced to take on a leadership role. He?s learned a lot from the things he?s been going through.?

Hyde will miss at least the first three weeks because of an altercation with a 19-year-old woman at a Columbus bar in July.

?Just watching him closely mature and take those young guys under his wing, he can bring a lot to the table in that respect right now,? Drayton said. ?He?s got to pay his dues and there?s nothing we can do about that. But his production and development doesn?t stop because of that.?

I really hope he leaves no doubt in anyone's mind this week about who the starting RB is at tOSU!!!! I appreciate what everyone else has done to this point but Carlos puts the POWER in power spread. In full beast mode Carlos changes the game for everyone on offense. Miller running left, Dontre running right, Carlos pounding through the middle, TE down the seam, Devin on a post...pick your poison opposing defenses.

And one of the nation's leading rushers goes to the bench? The guy who Coach Meyer has called the best RB on the roster?
