The next time someone says if he hadn't been suspended for 3 games ..I'm gonna scream..it should be if Hyde hadn't fffd up this summer he'd be in Heisman contention.

If I remember correctly, Duane Long - on his solo website before he gave it up - correctly had Hyde pegged as the dominating OSU feature-back of the future. Paraphrasing, he liked Rod Smith, but he loved Carlos Hyde.

Smith and Hyde were in different classes though. When Hyde committed to us, he was definitely overshadowed by Jamal berry, and also by the fact that Jordan hall was a very good teammate of terrelle Pryor and also mr football in PA. Hyde has not only been the most consistent but has gotten better every year he has been in s&g. And patiently waited for his spot at the table. Hyde has arrived in a big way, and made the most of his senior year after his suspension was up. But it's very hard to say that this was predicted when he committed to us, making recruiting that much more awesome

Both Ameche and Dayne played for Wisconsin, therefore they both played in the Big Ten. I do agree, however, that it's ridiculous that a Buckeye's name isn't on it.
