Tough, tenacious runner. Great vision. Big frame, looks bigger than 200, will probably play in the 215-220 range in college. Lacks elite breakaway speed but he's so fluid and efficient hitting openings that he still is able to break long runs. He's got the ability similar to Cam Akers where he can generate explosive bursts regardless of his pad level. Whether he's skinnying up to slip through a tight gap or getting low to brace for contact, he's is able to stay quick and agile without much wasted effort. Maybe more important than anything else, he blocks like a kamikaze, which tells me he "gets it". I think back to when we backed off Damien Harris and started going all in on Mikey Weber, Stan Drayton made the comment that it's very important that they find players who fit the culture they've established in their room, rather than just finding guys who can see holes and run fast. Snead's play fits our culture perfectly. I'm really excited to see his junior film because if he keeps improving, he's going to be a special back who will push for 5 star status.
