RB Brian Snead (transfer to Iowa Western CC, transfer to Austin Peay, transfer to Arkansas St.)

Now that it’s public knowledge, I don’t have to be introduced to that mysterious place....But yeah, this was a situation where he had to go, especially on the tails of the Zach Smith BS. Unfortunately, they couldn’t play the “wait til the facts come out” game.
We don't know if he had to go, these "university investigations" are known for being biased against males. The fact that there were no criminal charges leads one to believe that it would have been tough to prove the case in court. Not saying he didn't rape anyone, but I don't trust the university investigation system as being a legitimate body.

I agree with what you are saying. But they weren’t going to fight that battle. So they felt that he had to go. I’m not saying I agree or disagree. I’m just saying that the university felt that way.

I don't think rape is a charge you can choose or not choose the police investigate. Maybe she was refusing to cooperate, but you can't refuse to press charges on serious crimes. Just the wording of the university findings makes it sound like it could have been drunk hookup.

The victim in the report did not pursue charges despite reporting the incident to the police, according to The Lantern. However, an internal investigation done by the university found that the running back had violated the OSU code of student conduct with charges of non-consensual sexual intercourse and non-consensual sexual contact
