In my opinion this is one issue where the Euros have it right, though I'm a bit worried about this F-1 single engine producer crap.

Serious discussion

This could be a serious discussion but the posts here are way off target.

Race in America is an issue as long as well allow it to be. Americans can be of any gender, religious persuasion, color or pigment of skin, ancestry but in the end they are Americans.

I think as far as race is concerned, as long as we are not lapped on a slow jog to an all out sprint or even a marathon we are just fine.

By the way, I am not an Italian-American or German-American, I am an American. It still rankles me that people choose their heritage before being an American.

"Coloured" people in South Africa have mixed race ancestry and typically speak Afrikaans in their homes. They are known for their incredibly humor.

Today, a Coloured radio announcer on talk radio and his audience were having a field day with Obama jokes.

The joke that got the biggest laugh concerned the fake story that Obama was on his way to South Africa in Air Force One to celebrate. The announcer said that anybody would know that was not true because Boeing could not have manufactured and installed the new mag wheels and bling on Air Force One yet.
