QB/WR Terrelle Pryor ('10 Rose, '11 Sugar MVP)

Actually that's quite typical for the radio trolls of the fan. Torg, ricordati and hooley have no insight or footbal acumen. They are hired to fire people up and get ratings.

My favorite part is where hooley sings the praisesof all tressel has done to utilize pryor, a laughable and hypocritical stance given his usual commentary on the subject.

Hooley's dislike for tressel, and the joy he gets when mistakes, scandals or disappointment present themselves is undeniable. During bball season, you hear a completely different person.

During bball season, he lives for wins over indiana.
During fball season, he lives for losses to indiana teams or the sec.

My only complaint about Terrelle is his running style. I think he could be much stronger when running with the ball.

He's a fine leader in my opinion and believes in his teammates and himself almost to a fault. I have no problem with loving your teammates. What he's said in the media does not mean that he's not a great leader. I think he's still maturing and for an emotional and honest kid he's doing fine. In the locker room is what really matters, not in the media.

The only comment that bothers me is the one about Wisconsin where he didn't really play well enough to be able to say "we'd win 9 out of 10 times."

I dunno, while I'm not really upset (don't really give a damn) about TPs comments, I tend to agree that they come off as a shot, however unintentional, at JT by suggesting that he'd be lighting up the world of CFB in another type of offense.

I also think that if a player on any other team said what TP said, we'd probably ream him for being cocky.

TP is a great player, but it wouldn't hurt to keep some of these thoughts to himself.

He would be putting up much better numbers in a simpler option offense. He's whining, but it's not about JT's offense, it's that people don't realize how much more difficult his responsibilities are.

He doesn't get to make one read and run, or even scramble during that read.

I agree the comments should be kept to himself, but Hooley has no credibility when he tries to pretend we don't remember what he usually says about JT's offense, particularly his use of pryor.

Agree with all you've said.

Whoa! If TP is that large of a jerk and a$, OSU is gonna have problems against Arkansas. We know how to take care of jerks......

1) you would be wise to familiarize yourself with the rules about buckeye bashing here.

2) do you have a scheme designed for arrogant qbs? Because the vast majority of the most talented ones are arrogant, and yet still the hardest to stop.

3) bruce hooley is a wannabe gregg doyel.

Pryor does need thicker skin and a slower tongue, but this isn't a shot at osu. This is a self-absorbed whine that he has a much tougher offense.

He chose this offense to develop into a complete passer. He could be a one read and go, dump off, runmer who can pass like denard or thomas, and put up huge numbers based on motion, mismatches and aggressive football. But he would not have a prayer of sticking at qb in the league.

the world was expected of him from day 1. No developing until year 4 like vince (mosr did not believe he could pass yet in the pregame hype for osu texas 05)
