QB/WR Terrelle Pryor ('10 Rose, '11 Sugar MVP)

On further reviewing of the game TP didn't look as bad. And Boom was money all day on the dump offs! TP and Boom are gamers!
Just think how many Big Ten QBs are graduating! Cousins, Tolzene, Stanzi, Weber, are all top league guys. That will leave TP, Robinson, Persa, Sheelhouse and The Nebraska QB(Martinez?). Changing of the guard at the top. Got to be a good thing for us!

Chappell - Hoosiers is a Sr

Don't forget the half dozen QB's @ purdue led by Marve and Henry both back
Penn State's half dozen led by McGroin and Bolden

No doubt TP is the cream of the crop.

So you have no problem with all the check-down passes and screens he threw at his receiver's feet? Those were just fine to you? And the lofted balls he tossed to receivers who couldn't get YAC because the ball took ten seconds to get there - you're cool with those too?

He did what he had to do to win in the end, but I thought it was a very frustrating game by Pryor.

Easy man.... Hell, judging by your harsh criticism of Pryor you'd have thought he threw the game ending pick last night.

I get the fact that you get frustrated with his play. That being said, his record as a starter is all I care about. If you want flash and stats, Michigan has an empty bandwagon you could jump on. If you are going to come on this thread to simply bitch about every little thing he does wrong (losing sight that he won against a very good Iowa team on the road), well, I have no use for you. Sorry, it's just how I feel.

I just don't get all of the criticism of Pryor. Krenzel completed 5 passes in regulation (only 7 total) in the 2003 Fiesta Bowl and ran for 80 yards, and we proclaim him as one of the best QB's ever. Granted, that was a herculean effort, but when Pryor puts up numbers better than that in a big-time game in November, we complain? I just don't get it.

Pryor was a stud yesterday. To come back and scramble for 14 yards on fourth and 10 after he threw a perfect game winning pass the play before shows a lot of his determination and heart. We are all extremely lucky to have TP leading this team.

Those receivers better have gotten their crap play all out of their system yesterday though. Sorry, not intended to be a bash, but the entire unit played far below Ohio State standards, and Pryor kept his head up the entire time. Bravo.

My guess is because they had much lower expectations for Krenzel. I think people forget that Pryor is going to own nearly every all time QB record in OSU history. Think about that for a second if you enjoy the history of OSU football as much as I do. If he beats Michigan he will almost certainly be starting in his 3rd BCS games in as many years, not to mention beating Michigan 3 times. The kid has lost 5 games in his career as a starter, with 3 coming in the Big Ten. He has won 29 games. How can anyone complain about the results he has delivered?

I don't care if he throws for 5 yards and runs for 15. He is the captain of the ship. Krenzel wasn't flashy, but then again he played on a team that had a lot of luck that year. Pryor is one quarter (1st against Wisconsin) from having us in the NC game this year possibly. Think back to the Illinois game when he went down. How did the offense look at that point? This team needs Pryor, he is the most important member of it.

2nd most important. Without Brewster snapping him the ball the play couldn't even start.:tongue2:

Love the dump off they kept running with Pryor rolling out toward the sideline waiting for the defender to either bite or stay put, and TP punished them no matter what decision they made. It truly was awesome seeing that, reminded me a lot of Vince Young in 2005.

The play that reminded me of Vince Young was that 4th & 10 scramble. Vince converted a 4th & 18 with his feet against Kansas in '04. They ended up in the Rose Bowl that year with an 11-1 record including a win over scUM. Just sayin'.

Against Iowa, Pryor had a couple questionable decisions, but I was really impressed with his play. He had at least 4 dropped passes which would have meant a lot to this team as they were all at important times. However, he managed to rise above it and all I'll remember in this game is that after throwing a perfect strike on 3rd and 10 and having it go through his receiver's hands, he calmly got back there and ran for 14 yards on 4th and 10.

Helluva job TP.
