QB/WR Braxton Miller (B1G POY, National Champion, OSU HOF)

I gave a similar response to a similar question. Jalin, I"m sure, will be seeing more snaps at wideout.

With how talented our defense will be and how many turnovers I'm sure they will generate - there is going to be plenty of football to go around to keep people happy.

I've been blown away by Jalin's transition from QB in HS to WR at Ohio State. He seems to want to make plays, no matter where he's at on the field.

This is what I've been saying.

Same here.

@MoMoney5 have you ever heard of a rotation? We wouldn't play just one player at a position. Brax can get reps at H back. And it's much easier for him to come in as an h back or WR, many QBs have went into the NFL and switched to WR or RB: Antwan Randle El, Ronald Curry, Brad Smith, Detard Robinson, Ryan McNeal, Matt Jones, etc. he wouldn't exactly be the first guy with athleticism and speed to switch from QB to WR or RB...

Lol u named two skill players besides Braxton compared to how much we have now that contribute
My recollection was that the Bucks weren't short of skill on the offensive side of the ball. It was more the fact that they had Shazier and not much else at LB. After the injury to Christian Bryant the defense was not ready for prime time - and then Roby went down.

Our team was also in year 2 of a new offense. And what exactly did Braxton do with his arm that would warrant him automatically starting if magically his arm was to be healed? JT broke almost all of his passing numbers as a redshirt frosh in his first year starting. All of the highlights most people remember about Braxton are due to his legs, not his arm. It only makes sense to put him at a position that uses his legs more. He honestly doesn't have a future at QB in the NFL, you can say I don't know that, but watch his film, and watch what NFL scouts have said. He's a QB project at best. He's still considered an athlete with an arm. Placing him at RB or WR doesn't take away anything he's done for the team and gives him still an important position with the team. It's not unrealistic to think that Braxton, Dontre and Jalin can rotate at H back. And Jalin can rotate on the outside with guys like Thomas, Smith, McLaurin, Campbell, etc

It depends on what Braxton wants. Maybe he doesn't want to play anywhere but QB. You can argue all you want about who is better than what the fuck ever blah blah blah, but in the hypothetical where Brax's arm is full go, he's my QB. You don't lose your job to injury.

Braxton took the 2012 team undefeated.
His arm was better than people are remembering.
The offense wasn't the machine it became this year. Period. No way you could plug in two other qb's last year and not miss a beat. No. Fucking. Way.

Except he wouldn't be losing the job to injury; he'd be losing the job to either the player who set a Big Ten record for touchdowns, or the player who torched two of the top three teams in the nation to win the National Championship.

There shouldn't be any automatic selection here, and under Urban Meyer you can be sure there won't be. (And I'm not counting Brax out by any means.)
