Agreed, if he is thinking of leaving he did the best acting job I've ever seen. I think he'll be a Buckeye next year, and a great leader for the team

I don't want to sell Braxton's QB abilities short because I think a lot of people have forgotten about the fucking howitzer he had, and his touch/accuracy was getting a lot better. But that may very well be past tense ... it's wait and see.

If he's the next Dante Hall, and I have no doubt he could be, that's a helluva consolation prize.

I just went and watch highlights of B Miller! His touch on swing passes is a thing of beauty! He has a laser long pass to!

Exactly what I have been saying, people forget very quickly just how dang good Braxton was and hopefully still can be but admittedly the injury is going to be difficult to bounce back from. But if he does, he is the best QB on the roster and that is the reason the best coach in the country had his depth chart the way he did in August despite all of the football geniuses on this site. Check out what George Whitfield Jr was saying about Braxton and he has worked with a lot of the great QBs over the last couple of decades.

Definitely. People seem to go straight to completion percentage for how good a QB is, but also forget poor WR play (dropsies) was a large part in Braxton's low percentage in 2012. I think he more accurate than people give him credit for. If he had the '14 WR group in '12, I'd say he's above 60% as a Soph.

Like I said in another thread, I think I had a similar surgery to Braxton. Will he be the same? Probably not. Like me, I figure he'll lose some arm strength and zip on his throws. But will it be to the point that he can't function as a passer? Doubtful. I'd liken him to the reverse Jason White. Brax should still have a good enough arm for CFB, but probably not for the NFL. I just tend to think he's buying in to Urban's team talk and can see him switching positions. We'll see.
