Well if he's hurting it on basic out pattern then he's got A LOT more recovering to do.

What does the route he threw have anything to do with the severity of the injury? I'm no expert, but I don't think there's a degree of injury attached to different route types. That'd be like saying you should worry more if a pitcher gets injured throwing a changeup rather than a fastball. The arm speed and stress on the elbow and shoulder is the same.

That wasn't the point. The point was that it was a routine play.

At this point we just have to hope that maybe we can get him back for big ten play. Forget opening game and non conference at this point.

Something tells me the defense will have extra pep in their step knowing they need to hold up their end of the bargain for once. Braxton was normally there to bail the defense out last year, well that's no more. Let's see what ya got silver bullets
