QB/WR Braxton Miller (B1G POY, National Champion, OSU HOF)

This is a lot of discussion about Winston in Miller's thread. But isn't Winston a RS Freshman? He can go pro after the 2014 season, or the 2015 draft. If he's a true freshman, then I'm wrong.
What I said. He'll go first in the 2015 draft -- after the 2014 season.

Regardless, I hope Brax stays another season, as I believe his QB competition in the draft will improve his selection position substantially if he does. Of course, none of this is in the least bit self-serving.

Too bad he missed 3 games. Would be right in the heisman race with Winston and Mariotta right now.

Hope he comes back, but his stock is rising and rising fast. As a buckeye fan I selfishly want him to stay.

Enjoy watching Braxton for these last 5 games. Could be the last time we a talent like him at QB in a long time.

Um, I really don't see him leaving.

As of right now, I don't think Braxton comes back. I realize the QB class is deep, but......
  • Millions flashing in front of your eyes with a family to take care of (Braxton has a baby boy, not sure if everyone knows that)
  • Losing 4/5 starting OL
  • Having already suffered a knee injury this year
Yes he still has room for growth, but why not get paid while working on it? I realize we all WANT him back, but I just don't see it right now. Could that change between now & the draft? Of course....but enjoy these moments while they last.

Because he won't get drafted in the first round, and if he stays another year, and performs the way he's playing now, he will get drafted in the first round making more money than he would have if he went a year earlier.

A buddy of mine played with Braxton in HS and still talks to him occassionally and apparently money is not an issue. Not to say he's loaded, but he'd be okay with staying for another year. He did think he would leave for the draft, however, this was before he suffered the injury early in the season.

Has anyone thought about writing Braxton a letter and begging him to stay? :mock:
Is there anyway we can all get together and beg Brax to come back??? Does he have an email.

I really feel this could become Braxton's team next year and with a lot of wrs, rbs, oline, the whole defense (exceptDT) and spteams back we could be national title contenders again. Without Brax we will be a grind it out offense with insert RB here and great defense and steams -- similar to 2002. Not sure that puts us to the top.

Never in my wildist dreams did I think Brax should or would stay for 4 , but he's never really been featured to the extent of his potential. Next year he should play some qb and db in addition to everything else - he should constantly be touching the ball or playing the biggest decoy in history.

Brax, COME ON BACK FOR ONE MORE YEAR--- DEMAND THE BALL FROM URBAN AND CHALLENGE FOR THE HEISMAN. GO TO THE NFL AS ONE OF THE TOP TALENTS TO EVER PLAY COLLEGE FOOTBALL not as a good QB with great speed.

There are no guarantee's -- ever -- but Braxton- YOU CAN MAKE IT HAPPPEN. Get your A** back to OSU and be the best you can be!! And Coach --- free the reigns -- if Brax comes back you use him any way you can -- SHOT MILLER-- RB , WR, CB - - I don't care

And this injury crap is overated --- TAKE A COUNT -- WHAT'S THE % OF COLLEGE PLAYERS WHO HAVE THEIR CAREERS RUINED BY INJURY THEIR SENIOR YEAR ---- IS IT EVEN AS HIGH AS 2%???

THE UPSIDE FOR MILLER AND OSU IF HE COMES BACK IS MUCH HIGHER THAN A FREAK HAPPENING THAT HE RUINS HIS NFL CAREER.

IF BRAXTON COMES BACK HE'S GOING TO MAKE HIS NFL CAREER NOT RUIN IT - AT LEAST THAT'S WHAT I'D TELL HIM

NO HYDE NO OL NO SHAZIER --- THIS IS HIS TEAM NEXT YEAR
BE A LEADER, BRAXTON
