QB/WR Braxton Miller (B1G POY, National Champion, OSU HOF)

Unless Braxton has a change of heart this will be his last year at OSU. Keep in mind he has a young son, rebuilt OL next year, and likey a new QB coach.

I'm pretty sure it's been out there for a while that he will leave early...

I have no idea what's going on in Miller's head, but this is the first of heard that he is certainly leaving. The only players that were making it well known that they were going were Roby and maybe Shazier.

I would just be surprised that he's leaving early to be drafted probably in the 3-5th rounds. Doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

If you have a link to show us where he's said anything about definitely leaving early it would be nice to see you post some evidence of this "pretty sure it's been out there for a while"....

I just came to the realization that he is gone after the year... :(

Slow down. the guy has had a few great games, but that doesn't necessarily mean he's leaving early. If this was the true measuring stick for you, you were probably peeing yourself about Troy leaving after 2005 was over and done with.

If the guy wants to go, good luck to him. Just enjoy it now and don't worry about next year yet.

People will find a way to worry about ANYTHING about a 63-14 win. :shake:

Miller still has a little under half a season to show case his improvement. Miller has all the tools, and probably has the best arm in the draft.

It's not a matter if he's ready, it's a matter if an NFL team is ready to pay him.

No, it's a matter if he's ready and it's entirely if HE feels he's ready or not, not if we feel it or not.

FWIW, I don't think he's ready yet. 2 great games don't necessarily mean he's NFL-ready. He isn't going to be drafted in the 1st or 2nd rounds, so the pay day likely isn't worth what another year in college will bring him. Besides, with the UGA QB, aTm QB, Clemson QB, LSU QB, Oregon QB and a slew of other QBs likely on their way out into the NFL draft, waiting until next year when the QB class will be him and Jameis Winston is probably a better idea IMO.

People close to the program believe he's gone. I thought that has been floated on Twitter many time by various people.

I mean there are plenty signs to back that up. Read the recruiting tea leaves. Look at the recruitment of Jerrod Randle.

Personally I don't care where he is drafted, and if he's ready or not. I think people are over rating this QB class overall. Outside of Bridgewater, IMO, it's a crap shoot at QB.

This is a lot of discussion about Winston in Miller's thread. But isn't Winston a RS Freshman? He can go pro after the 2014 season, or the 2015 draft. If he's a true freshman, then I'm wrong.
He is a RS Frosh.

Remember he added tOSU to his favorites after UFM was hired saying "It's Urban Meyer, what's not to like" about tOSU. Probably stayed at FSU because of Braxton. Would've been a cool get for Meyer.
