QB/WR Braxton Miller (B1G POY, National Champion, OSU HOF)

If he's cleared he has to play. We are going into a Night Game at State Colege. Maybe if we were playing Indiana it'd be a different story but this game is not going to be easy. Again that's if he's medically cleared.

I understand that, and I certainly want him to play, both because he gives OSU a better chance of winning and because he's just a lot of fun to watch. Still, you're probably going to want to be overcautious even if he's cleared. He'll play if he's cleared, but I think they'll take a little more caution with his evaluations this week compared to if he rolled an ankle or something.

ESPNU just reported that Braxton has been released "symptom free" from the hospital. Looks like he's just going to be sore in the morning from a hard hit.

Whatever the case, this is good news for him. :)

The logic of any arguments that the risks to Braxton should be disregarded based on the quality of our opponent escape me.

I agree, if that's the argument.

I think the risks to Braxton should be evaluated by our medical staff. If he's cleared, he plays. If not, he sits.

I am incredibly happy he is fine. The thing that sucks is with even an average day he might have jumped into the Heisman lead. Geno Smith is stinking up the joint.

Oh well, at least he is healthy. I trust the coaching staff to make the right call if he plays next week or not.

Brax had a pretty rough game leading up to his injury; poor accuracy, poor decision-making. I'm not sure that we'd have won the game without KG taking over.

I'm still overjoyed to have him at (relatively) full speed going into the Penn State game.

How many times this year has be looked bad then all of a sudden goes off? If he doesn't get injured they very well could have went in and scored on that same drive and the OT would not have been needed.

I think today was different. The OL, as far as I could say, weren't playing their best game, Braxton was hurried a few times. UFM has said that in his system, if the QB has a bad day, we would lose. Braxton was not at his best today.

Besides, in previous games, the light would go on after 1 quarter, or after the half. Today, I was waiting for the offensive explosion the entire game, but didn't see one. Not even well into the third quarter either. So his point still stands.

You are saying that after he just ran for 37 yards.
