Sal Paolantonio's comments this morning on the radio station didn't really sound like an ESPN reporter. Coming out and saying, "Troy Smith sucks" and "Troy Smith will never be an NFL quarterback" sounded like he had some kind of vendetta against the Ravens or something.

I couldn't tell if he was trying to be shocking and am sure ESPN radio stations will try to bury the comments.

Baltimore Ravens linebacker Terrell Suggs was put on the spot for comments he made this week about Steelers receiver Hines Ward and own teammate, Cleveland native Troy Smith.

It was reported that Suggs said the Ravens had a "bounty" on Ward. That was later denied by Suggs, but he added that Ward is a dirty player. Suggs made these comments after Ward's latest block (see video above) upset several players from across the league.
But despite the early success of rookie quarterback Joe Flacco, Suggs said that Smith should be the Ravens' starting quarterback.
