?I told him, ?If you finish spring and you are not the starting quarterback, you are going to need to sit out a year and transfer,? ? White said. ?I said to Troy, ?Let me tell you what is going to happen: If you are not the starting quarterback coming out of spring, you are going to get screwed.?
?So, when spring ball was over, Tressel was non-committal on who the starting quarterback was going to be. Even at the beginning of year in camp, there was no firm commitment. Troy said, ?Coach, what should I do?? I said, ?You are still in the ballgame because he hasn?t picked one guy yet. But one of you is going to get screwed.? And that?s what happened at first.?

Zwick wasn't "screwed" out of anything. He was given the opportunity to be the starting QB at tOSU, and unfortunately (for him), he didn't seize it. Even so, he remained a Buckeye through-and-through and has never spoken an ill word of the university or Jim Tressel. He got a top-rate education, a National Championship ring and a few Big-Ten titles. Not a bad deal.Viking;1205686; said:I know what you're getting at but at the same time you can look at what happened to Zwick after Troy won out and realize that the man was dead on in his assessment of the loser's prospects.

50 patties, 50 slices of cheese.
Just a point of interest, the largest they make now are 4X4s.
Bastards.
