You might be able to:

QB - T. Smith
*WR - Homes
*WR - Gonzo
TE - Hamby (Not sure if he is still with the Bungles?)
TB - Pittman
RT - Olivea
RG - Tyson Walter (Still with GB?)
C - Bently/Mangold
LG - Sims
LT - Pace
DE - W. Smith
DL - Patterson
DL - Pitcock
DE - Gholston
OLB - Carpenter
ILB - Hawk
OLB - Vrabel
*CB - Clements/Plummer
*CB - Gamble
SS - Whitner
FS - Salley
K - Nuuuuuge

* PLENTY to chose from for these positions!

Switch Hawk and Carpenter, add Antoine Winfield, and use Bentley as a guard. :tongue2: Next year is going to make it much easier to assemble an all-Buckeye fantasy team.

I'm excited for Troy to get his opportunity.. my only concern is that he's playing on a team that has never had excellent QB play. Hopefully the new staff can change that with Troy.

Does it matter where he is now? He has a ring on his finger, Troy dosen't.

I'm still sick ove the fact the Browns got Quinn while the Ravens stole Troy in the late rounds..

Troy will show everyone what a steal he was this season.

RS fresh yr was 2002 so a ring he does have

Think I'd go with Hartsock here. Atlanta picked him up.

when is this stupid argument going to get laid to rest?

yeah, ok we get it. Troy was a Buck and Quinn was a Fightin Irishman. I bleed S&G just as much as the next guy here but I at least can honestly say I see why the Browns took Quinn instead, and apparently so did every other NFL, Draft, and Scouting guru in the business.

Yeah, 'cause they're always right.

hindsight's 20/20....

I would have LOVED to known that Derek Anderson would be a servicable QB. -- I would have said draft Troy in a heartbeat. Even though I'm a cleveland fan and a Buckeyes fan, I wanted Troy there either way... but still.

I can't fault them for picking up Brady.

Everyone seemed pretty high on him after the UM game. The height thing was his only drawback. I don't see why NFL GMs make such a huge deal out of height for QBs. Granted, NFL players are taller on average, but I would think they would realize that skill and intangibles than a couple of inches. Take Doug Flutie, he was 5'9" and was 35 years old before he saw significant time in the NFL. He still managed to outperform the taller QBs that he replaced and that replaced him. The guy was just a great competitor and athlete. Hopefully, Troy can prove that everyone that passed on him made a huge mistake.

Stupid argument? What argument?

I'm not arguing anything. I'm just sayin' I would have rather picked up Troy in thr 5th round than traded away the 2nd round pick for BQ.

Let me ask you this - how can you "see why the Browns took him instead"? What has BQ shown you to make you feel this way?

I guess I don't trust these GMs and others as much as you do.. or else all these 1st round picks every year would be pro-bowlers...

How much higher do you think Troy would have been drafted if he had a good Fiesta Bowl performance?
Troy had a great Fiesta Bowl performance that launched him into a position as front-runner for the Heisman. It was his BCS title game perfomance that fucked him. :wink2:

If Troy would have won that game and put up good numbers. The media would have been all over him. worse then a Tom Brady/Tim Tebow/Vince Young orgy . The media Loved Troy in till that game. but after the BCS game. They lost there love affair with him. I think you would have been hearing his name as one of the best of all time in College Football. But the media is what destroyed his draft status in my opinion. and National Media still doesn't do him any credit for what he is doing in Baltimore. Everything I have read he looks really good. It would be great if he came out and set the world on fire this year. because then they would have to admit that they were wrong. I wish Troy nothing but the best and I hope he does go on to do great things in the NFL.
