It is posts such as yours that makes me want to puke....you and your "Buckeye Planet--holier than thou...know-it-all freakin attitude!!

1. Where the hell do you get off tellin someone else to quit starting an honest thread in which the poster simply states his own honest opinion?

2. His "football knowledge isn't quite up to snuff"...what a joke!...Up to WHOSE snuff?...Yours? What the hell makes yours more right than his?

3. "Ohio State never has. never will, run a spread offense"....the poster never said that OSU did...and YOU should NEVER say NEVER!

4. "I doubt that there are many others out there that wish for a spread offense"...possibly, even probably true...however there ARE those that do want a somewhat more "spread" offense, myself included.

5. And , FINALLY....your unbelievably, condescending advice in your last sentence is the topping that makes me need to almost keep my attention focused more on other boards than here!

Who the hell are you to tell someone they need to be "more educated to the posters on the board"?....and the "attitude" of the board?...gimme a freakin break!...and more educated in college football in general....so that what?...he can only post what you agree with?

I rarely post on this board, because of posters like you...and I have been an OSU fan all the way back to Cassady, so don't tell me I dont know college football or OSU football in particular!!

In my opinion, you owe the original poster an apology, but considering your "more educated", "better than him" attitude....I know I will not see one!!

Ohio State will NEVER goto a spread offense. It just will NEVER happen. Ohio State is a run first team. The only reason we would ever go pass first is because we can't run.

Anyone with 2 brain cells of football sense, not trivia and who's who but actual X's and O's, knows that you cannot just change an offensive philosophy like a light switch. It doesn't work that way.

If we offend you so much with our pompous attitudes, then take your whiny ass back to your other boards and partake in the senseless drivel you crave.

Nobody needs your bullshit lectures on humanity over here

No one mentioned anything about "changing an offensive philosophy like a light switch"...I simply said I was in favor of a "somewhat of a spread offense!

I really DON'T give a rat's ass how feel about my "whiny ass"...just expressing my opinion....oh...that's right...different than yours, so jump on the "whiny ass"!!

Expressing an opinion...exactly like FKA did. That is completely allowed over here just like your little hissy fit is allowed. It has nothing to do with agreeing with any of us but everything to do with being able to back your point up with a sensible argument. It takes some thicker skin than what you have displayed.

Being a Buckeye Fan since 1918 and following college football does not mean you know football. Hell my mom knows better than to suggest the buckeyes need to run a spread formation. It good to have an opinion but to suggest that and actually believe it is totally different. Go to bucknuts if you want to talk about that conversation!!

I dont have one of those. haha. Havent we seen them in that type already? Im not saying go 5 wide every play im just saying when its 2 & 3rd and long to go, i dont want to see them line up with 2 in the back field. My basic message is just let the QB make plays.

3rd and 2 in the spread....you better have a QB able to read the blitz and receivers coached up enough to adjust their routes because the heat is coming from any DC who values his job

You are arguing my point for me, that is not something you just expect an occasional spread offense QB to be proficient in....

shit....im no football expert, but even i know the fucking formations to use in certain situations. for crying out loud people, use your fucking heads.

since when does a spread formation = automatic yards? when did the football gods equate spread formation with "offense fixer"?
