QB Justin Fields (2019-20 B1G Off POY, 2020 Silver Football, 2019 B1G CCG MVP, Pittsburgh Steelers)

I'm guessing being stuck behind Fromm has a lot more to do with his transfer. The incident gives him the ability to move without sitting out, which is a bullshit rule in a sport where a coach can quit a job three weeks after he took it, and immediately coach elsewhere. Fields shouldn't have to request a hardship, but I hope he gets it.
I think it has nothing to do with Fromm personally. Every bit to do with the system.

UGA really wants to have their RBs carry the team and then go play action. With fields he can do so much more with his legs and he fits more to what we do or even OU does.

Thats not the point. The point is that quitting a team just because someone calls him a name leaves me wondering. I've been called racist names too but I never quit what I was involved in because of it.
And Oh yes, welcome aboard Mr Fields.

He's obviously transferring because he was sold on an opportunity that isn't really there, so he's leaving.

He's using a questionable hardship waiver to game a system that is overly exploitative and restrictive to him (with none of those limitations on coaches). Antonio Williams, Patterson, Grimes all got waivers to play right away. None would have been doing so if their previous situation was more promising.

Whether they do not want to fight the waiver requests as strictly (as everything else), or it's just an unofficial way to grant a little bit of decency to players, it doesn't really matter. Transfers happen a lot.

He's transferring because of Kirby and Jake. If he uses the racial attack, it's hard to argue it's nothing given that the player was kicked out for it. A possible reason does not require an overwhelming case.

 That’s not at all why he “quit” Georgia. Probably had a lot to do with the fact that the “most accurate passer in the SEC” fell apart in every meaningful game he played in while he was left to pace the sideline. And when he did make it onto the field, he was a glorified wildcat ball carrier. He was not at all properly utilized in their offense.

What happened to those two guys? Not trolling - I seriously don't know much Buckeye history.

Schoenhoft regressed mechanically and transferred to Delaware. Henton was notoriously popped in a CPD sting/checkpoint for soliciting a prostitute and also transferred.

The impending arrival of Pryor in 2008 and the exodus from the QB room led to grabbing Bauserman off the free agent wire after his MiLB pitching career ended.

A gross overstatement. Fromm's yards and TD's against Alabama are the best performance against the Crimson tide since DeShaun Watson threw for 400+ against them in the CFB Final three years ago. Prior to that you have to go back to Cardale Jones in 2014 to see a similar statistical performance against the Tide.

You can be incredibly happy for Fields without shitting on his former teammate and a college sophomore. Justin isn't - take a lesson from him.
