QB Cardale '12 Gauge' Jones (B1G Champion, National Champion)

May be right on all counts but I don't hold _anyone's_ performance this season -- at least on the offense -- against them as a player. With coaching as it was, it would be like driving a Ferrari eleven miles over speed bumps... Only to have the road clear up for the final two miles of the trip.
When you clearly lose your starting spot because you didn't play well enough, that's on him, not the coaching. And EzE still looked very good out there. Cardale lost his spot, not the coaches. When you're the starting QB, a lot of responsibility and leadership falls on the head of the QB. He didn't handle it

We're both entitled to our own opinions and we cab agree to disagree. In the end we both want success for Cardale. I just think he has a lot of fundamental work and film watching to do before he's ready for NFL defenses. Has all the physical tools though which is a good foundation to start with

Unfortunately his biggest problems this year were decision making, mostly speed in making reads. He was too slow. Well the game is about to speed up tremendously on him in the NFL. Part was coaching I agree. But he has a long way to go on the mental side of succeeding in the nfl. A good coach can help him get there possibly.

Just watched 12 Gauge's throwing workout on the NFLN's Pro Day presentation. He threw a ball effortlessly 57 yards on the money to hit Michael Thomas in stride. He had several other 30+ yard throws that were rockets and on target and everything he threw looked like he was just lobbing the ball. His potential is flat-out off the charts...
