Former Ohio State quarterback Cardale Jones will leave the NCAA behind when he enters the NFL Draft later this month, but the 23-year-old made sure to take a parting shot at the NCAA on Twitter Monday.

Why shouldn't a collegiate athlete be able to use their OWN likeness/brand to benefit themselves but yet the @NCAA can sell there jerseys

Technically the NCAA isn't selling your jersey with YOUR name on it Cardale. They are selling Ohio State jerseys.

Technically tOSU is selling or is collecting a licencing fee from a third party who sells a jersey that doesn't have your name on it. The NCAA sells championship team gear.

That doesn't sound right. One time in his life as a freshman in college he tweeted something......so clearly he's dumb as a post and never went to class for his entirety of his college career.

Gotta love a scout who (anonymously) calls someone stupid by using the nonsensical, moronic phrase "not the brightest cookie in the world."
On a more serious note I've never thought Cardale wasn't a smart guy. He's always seemed very thoughtful. Obviously he had to work through some immaturity issues, and still might to some extent, but I definitely wouldn't call him dumb.
