I think Tressel would of gave him a snap or two. Very disappointed he didn't get out there for an ovation.

Kenny G and Cardale Jones are two of my favorite QB's. Just in the last 10 years, it's tough to top Troy Smith, and of course Pryor and Miller had amazing results early. We are killing it at QB! Can't wait to see who's next.

253 is great given that for 15 months the talking heads figured OSU's 250 listing was bogus and that he appeared to be 275-285 in person.

Some teams will want Cardale to be about 10 pounds leaner, but it's not like there was ever a concern throughout his college career that he was battling his weight, yo-yo'ing, or that it affected his endurance or durability. He's already demonstrated that he's pretty agile at that size.

It's a shame that Cardale pulls his hammy on a drill that means virtually nothing for a QB. I think the combine was very important for Cardale as I beleive there is some "buyer beware" on his stock. Scouts want to watch him take a snap from center, take a 3-step, 5-step, and 7-step drop, and get a personal look at his release. His tape is very inconsistent, so, that made the combine important for him.

Now that he lost his shot to throw at the combine, he'll need to display it at OSU's pro day. I think his pro day is now even more important - depending on his performance, it could possibly mean being drafted in the 3rd round vs. the 6th. Now he only has 1 shot to show the scouts. Just my opinion.
