QB Cardale '12 Gauge' Jones (B1G Champion, National Champion)

VIDEO: CARDALE JONES THROWS FIRST PITCH AT CLEVELAND INDIANS GAME

When Ezekiel Elliott threw the first pitch at a St. Louis Cardinals game, Cardale Jones openly wondered if Elliott's hometown team loved him more than Dale's hometown team, the Cleveland Indians, loved him.

The gambit worked. The Indians were quick to set a date for one of Ohio's most popular athletes, and that date was tonight before the Indians (26-27) squared off against the Baltimore Orioles (24-29).

Before the pitch, Cardale Jones met with Cy Young winner Corey Kluber, and played catch with fellow Ohio State legend (and Clevelander) Troy Smith.

It is rather obvious that Cardale did not play much baseball during his lifetime. Those a baseball almost like a girl but it goes a little bit further. However, he is still my favorite.

CARDALE MUM ON #QBGEDDON. It's almost times for the #takes to decide and Ohio State's Magnificent Three to put it down on the field.

The Iron King is playing it as cool as a cucumber.

From Bill Rabinowitz of Dispatch.com:

But the two people outside the Buckeyes program who know Jones best — Michelle Nash and his Glenville High School coach, Ted Ginn Sr. — say that Jones is not dwelling on the pending quarterback competition.

“He never speaks about it at all — never,” said Nash, who entered Jones’ life as a mentor when he was 14 and soon took over the primary responsibility in raising him.

It’s not as if Jones doesn’t get asked the question often.

“I’ve seen people ask him,” Nash said. “He says, ‘It’ll be what it’ll be, but it’ll be fine.’ ”

To me, Cardale is in a win/win position. Even if he loses #QBgeddon (and I'll be damned if I ever predict that), I still think he could be a 2nd round pick if he doesn't play a snap this year.

Before you disagree with me, remember that there are only 5-8 good NFL QBs at any given time. These teams are so desperate, and Cardale has the franchise personality and tools already.

Personally I'm not a fan of his twitter use. Obviously from his original dumb comment about playin' school, to all off season, and now this. I think Cardale when the season starts really needs to consider stepping back a little bit because this is not about him once Fall camp hits. Because I can assure you while Cardale is tweeting Braxton/JT are watching tape. I'm not one for talk and with people like JT/Braxton who I'm sure also have great opinions that would be valued on a twitter forum they're far too busy getting priority 1 straight (being QB at OSU) that they don't have time for that BS. I'm all for having a forum to voice your opinion and I respect all opinions but in saying that he has to realize if he's going to lead this team he has to consider when/where to voice those opinions. This does nothing but draw attention to himself and could potentially be a distraction for others though. If this doesn't effect his play or the teams play then great but I think it's human nature that eventually it will.

Well, 12 Gauge did post a pretty open-ended question. Still, DGus1228 did put his dick out there on the chopping block with his reply...
You know I didn't see the man's original twitter post to CJ and you're right he really did. The guy deserved every bit of Cardale's response now that I've seen the true remark he made because for some reason a lot of outlets are reporting the man saying something very mild which I didn't see any harm with him saying but as I said good for you Cardale for basically embarrassing the man for what he said.
