Underthrowing a deep ball where you have a man defender looking away from you isn't always an accident. Didn't they also get a PI call off one of those, too?

The one in the second quarter to put them up 24-0 was good. The one win the third quarter to put them up 45-0 should have been picked or at least knocked down if the defender turns around. The first TD you already mentioned. I just thought Smith wanted the ball more and outplayed the Wisky backs. Like I said, Cardale played fine. Compare what Barrett did against Michigan St.. He was leading his receivers deep and hitting them in stride.Wow. I dont think I've every disagreed with someone on this forum, but I think you've got it backward here. The first deep ball was a 50/50 ball, but beyond that pass he was nearly perfect. The deep runner over the shoulder? CB doesnt have a chance in hell to locate the ball when he can barely keep up with the receiver. Perfect pass. The way he stood in the pocket and took hits, ingored the rush, and threw the ball with confidence is the most impressive thing IMO. I never thought Pryor was a good passer, and it was pretty clear IMO after his second year that he was never going to be a good passer. Pryor doesnt have near the arm power that Jones does. Comparing them isnt an option IMO. He's going to destroy bama, and I cant wait.
Jalin Marshal, and worst case scenario Stephen CollierI love how the media now thinks Cardale is a big immobile pocket passer. Obviously just watched the highlights and I'm 90% sure we didn't run the zone read with him not becuase he can't but becuase we didn't need to and if he got hurt wtf would we do then?
I was watching the game again last night and noticed that the one play where he scrambled a bit and then took off for about 10 yards - no one was around him and he still was carrying that ball high and tight. I'm not so worried about him fumbling as some other guys.
