QB Cardale '12 Gauge' Jones (B1G Champion, National Champion)

All this talk of conservative, overadjusted, gameplanning seems silly to me.

The offense has not changed, it's simply exchanged leadership. Some plays move down the list of priority and others move up, it's really that simple.

I very much doubt that Herman or Meyer are running with the same mentality that we saw with JT week 1. Cardale knows his role and so does the rest of the offense. If I'm confident in anything it's that the gameplan WON'T be hesitant. They know we are going to have to score a lot to win this game and they know that every possession will be crucial, especially in what looks like is going to be a very short game.

Errr everything I've seen from Cardale says he's just as effective as JT, if not better. Not sure what these BTN dudes are huffing.

Just sayin': If you read all the players, coaches, and media GLOWING comments about Cardale you just have to wonder how JT managed to beat him out as the stater this year.

I think, in addition to being more athletic, Cardale is bigger, faster, and stronger than JT. If I had to guess I'd say JT has a better understanding of the game (i.e. more quickly reads the defense and makes the better decisions) and is more accurate on most of his passes. With that being said if the play calling concentrates on Cardale's strengths and the other "offensive playmakers" pick up their game accordingly we should do alright tonight on the offensive side. I think the game will come down to whether the defense can effectively contain Wisky's offense.

Well they said the offense moved fine for both but just more consistently for JT.

Don't misunderstand me. I'm not miserable in the least; it's been a great, great season. Just would be surprised to see us beat the stinking Badgers on Saturday.

Looking forward to having Cardale prove me wrong!
