QB Cardale '12 Gauge' Jones (B1G Champion, National Champion)

A very nice night in limited action for my main man Cardale. 5 rushes, 52 yards, 10.4 yard per carry average. He wasn't playing school out there last night.:banger:

If I'm being brutally honest, and admit that I'd probably do the same exact thing, I thought he was a little selfish or just a little immature last night. He looked a little disturbed at the idea of punting with a big lead, and he didn't really seem like he had any interest in giving the ball to anyone else. I'll admit that one run was pretty sweet but that's just a quick gut reaction to what limited time I saw of him. It's certainly nothing that another year of maturity won't fix IMO.

Agreed. Lacks on the read option. I felt bad for Rod when Cardale gave him the ball to get trucked immediately.

Free video per the Scout board, of Cardale at the post Spring game news conference. From watching the Spring Game, I'm of the opinion, Cardale has to improve his accuracy,
and learn to put some "touch" on his passes. Arm strength is not an issue with this young man. I can't remember an OSU QB with arm strength like his?
