OSU third-string quarterback Cardale Jones was suspended for last night?s game, a day after tweeting that he didn?t understand why college football players had to go to class because they were there to play football. The tweet went viral, and it didn?t matter that Jones ? a freshman from Cleveland Glenville by way of Fork Union (Va.) Military Academy ? had taken down his Twitter account soon after he posted it.

Meyer had praised Jones? progress on the practice field earlier in the week.

Based off of what he said, sounds like he's out of the doghouse and will be playing next year. Since he practically called Guiton a guaranteed backup. Obviously depends on how he pics up the offense in the offseason.

He was 230 in high school and is listed at 235 on the "official" OSU roster which is notorious for not being updated measurements-wise. So I'd assume his 40-pound weight gain puts him at 270 pounds or more.
