Come on fellas, cut the kid a break. In Georgia women don't have teeth so he became a little overzealous when he saw a full set.

However, he might have had a little sticker shock too. $5 in Athens, GA got you the same treatment..... the $20 price tag might have confused him.

EDIT: Plus this is going to hurt recruiting because if an OSU QB can't get a piece of ass......

I'm having trouble understanding who solicits prostitutes at the corner of 6th and High?

Now, years and years ago I'd gone down that way on several occasions with my friends after a night of kegging, but getting hookers in that neighborhood was the furthest thing from our minds. Usually, we were just looking to (A) get to the White Castle for some sliders and (B) not get shot, raped, or mugged.

But you don't see the moral dilemma that such conduct invokes, according to your standards? If prostitution wasn't illegal, then are you saying you don't have a problem with it? Just like marriage, which for some couples, is just legalized prostitution.

Why then don't you think drinking and driving or doing drugs are as bad as soliciting, even though such conduct is likewise illegal and potentially dangerous to others?

Dryden, 6th & High is much swankier than it used to be. Although... in the short north one might find a girl only to find out it's a guy. Gotta be careful there.

Well this sucks but Schoenhoft and Bauserman are still there. I saw Kacsandi get in the game the other day, I think, on Special Teams... let him get in there.

Besides, Henton did not look that great Saturday against NW.

I have to go back and read more of the posts, curious to know, is this a 100% sure thing?? or is he being falsely accused??

How could we have seen to trust Troy Smith? He had an assault charge and accepting money from a booster under his belt, yet Tressel gave him a last chance, which he seized. At the same time, Tressel gave Irizzary (who seemed to be a much safer choice than TS) a second chance, and he took it and went out and did what I believe to be the worst offense a scholarship athlete can commit--a violent felony against a normal student. In that case, Tressel was wrong. I don't envy him trying to sort through these situations and balance the needs of what's best for the university (always should take precedence in my opinion) the football team and the individual in question.

I never said that I thought it was a, "good idea," and I grew up in Nevada.:wink2:

Henton has problems, I'll grant you. In this instance, what's better for him as a person in trying to get him straightened out? Cast him aside and leave him to his own devices in dealing with this, or keep him in the program where he'll have the structure and discipline of the football program combined with the counseling and mental health services available to university students?

That aspect of things I can definitely appreciate...but it's not something that should just be handed to him.

In the end if Tressel and Smith meet with Antonio and decide they have enough faith in the kid to give him another shot, I can live with that...but I would still be skeptical.

henton had to have a public defender handle his arraignment today and his friends had to come down and post his bond because he couldn't get in touch with his family.

I won't post his version of the story on here, but it's comically sad. if the mods want to pm me about it, then decide if it should be posted, then fine. but, chances are, doing so would result in several pages that will need to be split off.

Oh, I think the young man will most definitely earn it. I foresee many uncomfortable hours of feminist awareness counseling in his future.
