Guiton during post game interviews:

This is what I play football for. I haven't always had the shot, and I feel like today

After that catch, I probably told (Fields) thank you, like a million times, On the pass, I was just hoping he could get it, and when I seen him get his hands under it, I knew he caught it.

Just by looking at Guiton, you know he is a down to earth, nice kid. He may not play at the next level but I hope to god he starts coaching for a profession.

He has the heart and brains for football. This game will be an experience that Guiton will never forget... just like the handy i gave him today. :tongue2:

One of the reasons I don't usually post during threads in-game is that the officiating complaints drive me a bit nuts. Holding occurs on every play for both teams, so to me it's a non-starter. But going back through this thread from kick-off I'm really surprised there wasn't much mention of what I thought were multiple neutral zone infractions on Purdue. There were a couple plays in the 2nd half where I thought Purdue's DT was a yard over the line before Linsley had even snapped the ball. Hall was even flagged for a false start on one of them, and could clearly be heard saying, "That's bullshit!" from the field level audio.

The fumble call not being overturned in the 1st Q really put me in the frame of mind that OSU was going to be screwed the entire game though. That was absolutely terrible.

.

I believe I responded "horseshit call" on that one. It was clearly a reaction to the Purdue guy jumping offsides.

It's hard not to mention the refs when they miss things like that and don't even review the fumble Braxton recovered.

I was watching his video this morning and I was thinking COACH material right away. Same thing with John Simon (after a very successful NFL career of course). They both have the tools for it.
