Game Thread Purdue at tOSU, Oct 20th, Noon ET, ABC/ESPN2

The offense will not be elite until Braxton works on his accuracy. We all know he has the arm and the legs, but I'm not seeing any form of consistent accuracy from him at the moment. This might just be nervousness, a product of the fact that he is a true sophomore who received no development last year, or something else. Either way, we need Braxton to be an accurate and eventually elite passer if we ever hope to take on and beat teams like Bama and LSU. My 2 cents

I agree with you about accuracy. His passes on crossing patterns always seem to be to the wrong side. When Guiton threw the pass to Stoneburner that caught him in stride I found myself wondering if Miller can make such an accurate throw.

What's more important? Miller's accuracy, or the receiver's hands? They're both things that need to be worked on. If I had the time, I'd re-watch every game and count how many TDs were lost to perfectly thrown, yet dropped passes.

This isn't even counting the perfect passes that were dropped on third and long that were guaranteed first downs.

It seems to me that Braxton's accuracy only suffers when he's in a hurry, and he's usually only in a hurry because he is a split-second slow in his decision making.

From my perspective, it seems that when Braxton starts making right decisions just a hair faster than he is right now, both his accuracy and the efficiency of the offense will improve immensely.

Hopefully it will come soon, because the O-line is giving them (both Miller, and Guiton) centuries to make a decision now.....but then Miller takes too long to decide to throw it away as well

half the time i watch highlight videos on mute since i can't stand the music.

i figured even Beth Mowins was better than some crap music that half the people who watched would hate and dislike just because they have different musical tastes.

not to mention, i like hearing the crowd and the band. :)
