Preseason and Regular Season Polls (2015)

Mighty SEC now down to five ranked teams (LSU 6 , Florida 8, Texas A&M 9, Alabama 10, Ole Miss 13) matches the B1G (Ohio State 1, Michigan St 7, Michigan 12, Iowa 17, Northwestern 20).

Herman has the Houston Cougars ranked at 24. Last time they were ranked was at the conclusion of their 13-1 2011 season in January 2012.

Sigh... it needs more trolls to drop Ohio State from #1...
Getting close, only a 21pt gap w/Baylor now (last week was like a 70pt gap to TCU)

Trying their hardest for ratings and controversy. They fail to admit the level of competition has been atrocious for the Bears.

ESPN trolls are fully aware of the amount of weeks left and the fact that no teams is playing great right now. They miss their 2005 USC and 2011 Alabama.

In other revelations...
NW still ranked? o.O
Herman has got Houston on the board. This is usually when you see how serious a midmajor is... often times they get complacent/proud and drop a game.
Apparently there was an ESECPN rally after last week and they've managed to cram 4 SEC teams in the bottom of the top10. Including the highest ranked 1-loss team at #10. It's pretty funny cuz that 1 loss wasn't close, the team that beat them is ranked behind, and their only credible wins are Wisconsin (terrible this year), Georgia (exposed), and Toledo's bitch. After how much they whinged about Ohio State getting #4 last year "on name alone" -- they're the ones habitually guilty of it. The thief is quick to accuse others of stealing his stuff when something goes missing...

It's also kind of amazing how fast UF vaulted into the top10 while everyone else remains rather static and deadlocked dependent on the teams ahead of the losing.

So glad these polls are meaningless.

Don't forget 2013 FSU. They stumped pretty hard for Jameis there and were giddy when they got ACC vs. SEC -- 2 conferences they effectively own.

DESPN's Brett McMurphy dropped OSU to 10th. Joel Klatt dropped them to 6th.

Never trust a man with a pedo stache.

Lots of pretty good teams this year. Nobody looking dominant. Just seems really weird like the playoff impact is already affecting teams attitudes. No longer is it an attitude of 'we have to look dominant' or 'lose once and your done.' etc. In that respect I guess it's kind of nice - if you are a Power 5 school, just win your conference. But the side effect almost seems like teams are biding their time or something.

I can't think of a year in recent memory with such a minor overall change in the top 10-12 teams. Sure there are 3-4 who look a little better than the rest but the change from 1 to 12 just doesn't seem as dramatic as usual. Maybe it's just me but it just seems like a playoff with 12 teams could see just about any of them win it at this point. Lot's of games left to play though.

With today's #1 ranking, OSU has now been ranked at #1 by the AP poll more weeks than any other team. (Broke a tie with OU today)

Buckeyes No. 1 in AP Poll for Record 102nd Time

COLUMBUS — The Ohio State Buckeyes are ranked No. 1 in the AP Poll for a record 102nd time, breaking the tie of 101 weeks that they held with the University of Oklahoma last week.
