Preseason and Regular Season Polls (2015)

Based on resume for this season only, I would have Ole Miss or Michigan St #1 if I had a ballot.

Buckeyes are Top 5 because they've proved they have a Top 5 defense, but that's tenuous until they solve the offense's identity crisis.

Ole Miss has a waaaay better argument than msu. MSU is being overrated as of now. Looked average vs wmu and air force. Beat Oregon at home. Ole Miss played garbage week one and two but demolished them, and then went to Tuscaloosa and beat Bama on the road. If going on current year merit alone it would be Ole Miss over msu by a landslide.

Biggest joke by far is Auburn. How BYU isn't ahead of them is laughable. Actually surprised to see Bama fall to 12. It's, dare I say, fair.

The second biggest joke is Missouri. 27-20 over Arkansas State, 9-6 over UConn. But "SEC" so it doesn't matter.

What's particularly annoying is later in the season we'll hear how such and such SEC team has played 6 ranked opponents, which is easy to do when 10 of them are ranked in September based solely on conference affiliation. In the end, the SEC is awesome because the SEC is awesome. #MediaLogic

Well...if the bowls mean anything...
MSU beat #5 Baylor while Ole Miss got destroyed by #6 TCU (42-3)
(Technically that was Jan 1st, so it would be this year lol)
