Predictions for 2014 season

I try to not be Don't Disrespect My CFB Team Guy, but yesterday Howard Griffeth said that with the loss of Brax, he would rank Ohio State as the 4th best team in the B1G. Seriously? I'm writing this BS down, and I will be emailing Howard in December.
That is laughable. Obviously #2 would, and does, make sense. Hell there is even a strong argument that MSU was ahead of us with Braxton. I could even be convinced of Wisconsin, but that's pushing the envelope. But he then must have us behind Nebraska? Or potentially has UM or Iowa more highly ranked than anyone else?

Uh, no there's not...
Uh, yes there was? I didn't say I believe that, but there was most definitely an argument. While I am sure they have question marks on their team as well, ours includes replacing 4/5 OL, replacing the best HB in the country, replacing our #1 receiver, our #1 TE still questionable at least for the beginning of the season, and our star QB coming off of surgery. On the defensive side, a new philosophy and losing our best LB and best player from the secondary. After being outside the top 40 in total defense and outside the top 100 in pass defense.

Again, argument for. Not that they would be. Argument they could be.

Edit: Oh, and not that this is as important as the above, but we're rolling out with a true freshman placekicker. So there's that too as far as question marks.

Show us who was making a strong argument that MSU was ahead of us, before Braxton was hurt. Virtually all sports sites have Ohio State winning the division (which includes MSU) and the conference, and all the polls have us ranked ahead of MSU. I have yet to see a single article/poll stating MSU is better than tOSU...not one.

I live in Illinois and the two long time writers for the Chicago papers had MSU ahead of us. A lot of the writers and announcers and writers from Iowa and Illinois. This was based on losing Hyde and the OL. They haven't bought into the D either. The games are played on the field... So like criticism is cheap so is hype. Herman on BTN just said Vannet and Baldwin were the big achievers this fall. what?

In a poll done by Cleveland.com of B1G sports writers, 20/29 chose OSU to get out of the East, with.........OOOOMMMMMMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG CAN IT BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE, 9/29 picking MSU?!?!?!?!?! WTF is going on heeeeeeerrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!?!?! Wait, what's that you say? Oh ARGUMENT for MSU. As in, not saying 100% of people believe MSU is the better team but rather a group of people who have a differing view believe MSU is the better team? Yea rigggggggghhhhhtttttttttt, that can't be the definition of argument.

That can't be. There cannot be, nor was no, argument for MSU being the best team in the B1G. Shut your whorish mouth now.

Fuck
30% picking MSU when 65% picked OSU is hardly "a strong argument that MSU is better than OSU even with Miller".

Perhaps you are misconstruing the word strong with either stronger or strongest. I did not say that the argument for MSU over OSU was stronger than the argument for OSU over MSU. I said there is a strong argument for MSU over OSU. Obviously strong enough to have nearly a third of a population to believe in it. So you're trying to use 30% against what I said, when in reality it's helping what I said. Probably because you may not have understood what I initially said?

Edit: never mind. I read your reply and you were asking to "show us who was making a strong argument that MSU was ahead of us,before Braxton was hurt." Just so happens that when I posted an article showing people who believe MSU is better than OSU, before Braxton it became a prerequisite to meet the definition of a strong argument that you must have a majority of the population believe in what you believe. Someone should probably go ahead and tell atheists to go pack up. They only have about a 5% stake in the population. They have no ground to stand on with their weak ass, most certainly not strong, argument they have.

The strength of an argument is in its popularity?

The guys on whatever the hell the BTN show I was watching last night (no, I don't know their names and I don't really care to) said that they were picking Michigan State over Ohio State before Braxton Miller got hurt.
1. 2/2 is hardly a scientific survey, so I'm sure it doesn't fit in with your popularity thing.
2. I don't know who the guys were. There's a good chance they were ex-players or something, but maybe they were just jerks coming in off the street. My point: maybe they weren't "cool" enough to be considered for making a "strong argument".
3. I don't know that they were really picking MSU over OSU before Miller got hurt. They could say anything and I'm not going to research their facts.
