Predictions for 2014 season

I was disappointed as anyone after the news but damnit, we are THE Ohio State University and we are going to be fine. We have THE best damn coach in the country. We have THE best damn players in the country. And we have THE best damn fans in the land. My new bold prediction: J.T. Barrett steps in and leads this team to a great season. I won't say he makes us forget about Brax, but he will surprise the nation and shut the E$PiN crowd's mouths.

By the way, I've already received countless "condolences" and "sorry to hear" and "sucks for your season" and even laughter about the Buckeyes following this news.

I simply replied with these words.

Cannot WAIT for the Buckeyes to hit the field. People don't know, but they will.

i've gotten more than a few "i'm sorry for your loss" comments as well. my reply was, "he hurt his shoulder. he's not dead!"

Let ESPiN and some opposing fans write us off! Interestingly, a number of knowledgeable pundits see a team with the best talent in the Big!
JT is built for this offense! He just has to be efficient at distributing the ball. I believe he'll be that. The team will rally around JT.

I have trouble believing that this team will win the East at this point. I think that, due to an inexperienced quarterback, we will lose one conference game we shouldn't, and that doesn't even include Michigan State. But I also think we'll see flashes of brilliance from JT. I think that Jones will get considerable playing time, and not because of injuries to JT or poor performance, but because of blow-outs.

That's the way I see it...the D won't be dominant yet.

I try to not be Don't Disrespect My CFB Team Guy, but yesterday Howard Griffeth said that with the loss of Brax, he would rank Ohio State as the 4th best team in the B1G. Seriously? I'm writing this BS down, and I will be emailing Howard in December.

Griffith played at Illinois, so what does he know about football?
