Pizza Man says he's going to conduct a national search

I can only hope this is the answer (assuming Hoke isn't).

I remember when John Cooper was brought in to Ohio State and people remarked that he knew how to beat Michigan based on an Arizona State bowl win over the Vulvarines.

And Les Miles also knows how to lose to Ohio State

There are plenty of good coaches out there who fit the Michigan profile and who would love to coach in Ann Arbor. None of them instill fear in me as a Buckeye fan, but all would be a quantum improvement over the overrated blowhard who has been up there the past 3 years.

Dan Mullen, Gary Patterson, Skip Holtz, Bo Pelini, Mike Stoops, Jim Grobe, Chip Kelly, Les Miles. I bet Michigan could get one of these guys to take the job, which remains one of the most prestigious in college football. Honestly, if I were Brandon, I might pursue Grobe.

Harbaugh instills fear in me, but he aint coming.

Peterson instills curiosity in me. He could be the second coming of Bo or just another Dan Hawkins at CU. I think he fears the latter, so he aint coming.

agreed. BP was right about Rich Rod because we analyzed the situation.....not because we're OSU homers and think everything up north sucks. I believe if BP had to analyze Harbaugh, the result would be "crap.....they got a good one this time."

Agree. The only thing I can think of immediately which would be a bit of a knock on him is that I think he does have designs on the NFL even if he took the Mich job. Thus, he'd be less likely to build a long term problem. Not much of a knock, though.

I hate to say this, but I really liked the way he handled the questions after the Orange Bowl as well. The guy gets it. I hated him as a player... I would hate him as a Michigan coach... but.. I'd have to respect him, I think.

Oh for sure, Harbaugh would be a bitch to deal with up there...but why on earth he would want to inherit that horse abortion of a program right now would be beyond me...he could have done some serious things 3 years ago had they hired him instead (Mallett=Luck?) but right now, WTF does he have to work with? Especially on defense.

The program is in shambles. The players are soft and weak. The alumni are meddlesome. Michigan needs to think outside the box and choose the right coach...a coach who keeps his pimp hand strong.
