Groce said he went to the camp more to look for an addition to the 2008 recruiting class, but when he saw Hill's quickness and energy, and learned he was qualified to transfer immediately, it "afforded us an opportunity to get a guy we thought was a great fit for us.

When I originally saw that we added a new JUCO PG that no one had heard of, I figured Groce was told to go to this camp to try to find a point guard, because we (I thought) are in desperate need of one. I think its interesting that he wasn't even there with the intent of finding us a PG.

he is a combo-guard that can play point in a pinch if the point is not satisfactory. there is absolutely no doubt whatsoever about that. walter, though, needs to make a bit more progress with his outside shot to be a combo-guard "all the way." walter is a more athletic version of butler but with a poorer outside shot. based on what i've seen so far and so very early, offutt would be my point next year. however, i see noopy or perhaps hill starting at the point at the beginning of the season. this is '07, though.crazybuckfan40;966606; said:Combo guard all the way...You will see him in the 2 postion most of the time he is on the floor...
