Got a heck of a matchup tomorrow with fellow lil guy, Yogi Ferrell. That is lightning vs. lighting.
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- Thad Matta searched for the word to describe how JaQuan Lyle and A.J. Harris played together on Sunday in Ohio State's loss to Indiana.
"Effective?" Matta said.
He was hesitant to say anything worked well in a game in which the Buckeyes trailed by 30 at halftime, and 25 when it was all over.
Lyle and Harris played together for the final 14 minutes of the second half. Some would call that garbage time, because the Buckeyes had no shot of getting back in the game. Despite much better offensive production in the second half, the biggest dent Ohio State put in Indiana's lead was cutting it to 22 midway through.
So there wasn't much to glean from any of what happened Sunday, except for the first prolonged look at Harris and Lyle playing together.
"Giddens is the second member of Ohio State’s freshman class to transfer this year and he might not be the last. Guard Austin Grandstaff left the program in mid-December, and Dayton native A.J. Harris is likely to follow suit. Freshman JaQuan Lyle, who said after the Florida game that he would be back next season, reiterated that on Twitter on Monday night after the news broke."
