PF Jared Sullinger (2x 1st Team ALL B1G & All American, Anyang KGC, S.Korea)

Rivals.com Basketball Recruiting - Hoopfest: Saturday (free)

Jared Sullinger- The elite 2010 bruiser was just too much for the smaller frontline of White Station. Sullinger, an Ohio State commitment, bullied his way to 23 points and a plethora of rebounds. But Sullinger didn't just operate in the paint. During practically the whole fourth quarter, Sullinger was the primary ball handler operating successfully out around half court. Expect Sullinger to have as big an impact on the college game his first year as any freshman in the country.

SCOUTING OBSERVATION

Ohio State fans can expect great things from Jared Sullinger. His physical style of play is frightening, and now he has added a dribble game to his attack. Against versatile defender Ferrakohn Hall at the Marshall County Hoopfest last weekend, Sullinger controlled the fourth quarter − not only in the paint but also out at half court. Columbus (Ohio) Northland went into a spread offense and Sullinger not only controlled the ball but also rumbled into the paint for positive play after positive play. A power player who might not go over a defender, Sullinger is well equipped to go through a defender and then finish with a soft touch.

I just hope they have the 2 year rule in by the time he get here...

Kid is going to be very tough to stop at the college level and if we can get guys like him and Thomas to stick around for more than a year we are going to have a very good team their frosh and sophomore years...

Not 40 but from what I have been reading is that he could be a PF at the next level very easily. He is increasing his outside skills while losing weight and gaining strength. I don't think his height will be an issue when he goes to the NBA hopefully around 2013:) he is ranked as the #1 player in the 2010 class so he would be a one and done unfortunately:(

The thing is he is still growing...He reminds me a lot of Kevin Love in terms of being able to score on the block, step outside and play off the dribble...

Kevin Love was a one and done...I would say that if he is anywhere around 6'9'' 270 after his first year here that there is a great chance he could leave after 1...

Sullinger looks more explosive than last year. He gets off the floor much quicker and higher and has quicker feet as well. When you combine his weight loss and gain in muscle as well as his body maturing and his becoming more coordinated this makes sense. He is a very good looking prospect who seems to do a lot of things very well. He will sure look good in S&G
