As someone points out in that thread, when he makes posts like this, he is just asking for trolls to respond.

The thread is mostly that first dude, with few responses to him. Why would you respond? I mean, respond with some sane argument and the internet tough guy is going to flex his muscles. There's no responding to that kind of thing. So, in defense of that board, they're starting to make sense.

But here's some of the reasons he wants to see a class action suit:

Penn State degrees were devalued, employees were openly ridiçuled and told they wouldn't be hired elsewhere. Employers were openly stating they would not hire anyone from Penn State. Businesses suffered loss of sales. There was more.

Penn State merch was yanked from shelves. Stores quit accepting Penn State merch.

Lies and fairytales were the order of the day. Every lawyer I spoke to was terrified about their practice.

Fear isn't indifference, it's cowardice.

The worst part of this whole fiasco was when the "voters"somehow jumped Nebraska over psu for the #1 spot immediately after we had just annihilated OSU. Still shaking my head over that one.

Nebraska in general had extremely low academic standards. Their ability to get borderline illiterate players was a significant competitive advantage back in the day.

The real criminals in this whole sad saga of the '94 team are all the dumb as a$$ do nothing, paper pushing, money grubbing, self serving cheats in charge of college football in that era. They couldn't even get it together to form a NC game until 1998. Thank God a broken clock is right twice a day and they miraculously got it right in 1982 and 1986.

One ironic thing is I find it hard to root for Big 10 teams primarily because of how the vote came out in 1994 when they didn't have our backs, but I remember vividly being so mad at the Miracle at Michigan, rooting for Michigan, thinking it could cost us and maybe ultimately did. If Michigan was ranked ahead of Colorado the week that Nebraska jumped us, we may not have ever relinquished the #1 spot. Who knows? The 1994 team was just a force and I find it hard to believe Nebraska could have beaten us on the field.

I saw someone on that site once claimed that *ichigan purposely lost to Colorado that year to screw over Penn State. Like, they KNEW that would happen, or something.

The idea of split national champions was brought up, and then this comment:

I don't live in PA, but my boss does and his boss went to Penn State. When he started here he tried to start some shit with a few people, and it worked with some - they call each other when the other guy's team loses. But when he told me he's a Penn State fan, it was pretty much the same experience you are mentioning - he had this huge grin - "I'm a Penn State fan." I was wearing some big Ohio State thing - shirt, hat, something... I don't remember. I just said, "Okay. Just as long as you aren't a fan of those turds up north." His grin faded and he mumbled something like, "Nah - we don't like (he said their name), either."

Later, he tried to start shit with me when he learned I didn't go to Ohio State. "Why are you a fan, then?" "Well, I grew up in Columbus. My grandfather taught there for 28 years and got us season tickets. I probably went to 50 games before I graduated high school." Again, his smirk went away. "Okay. I'll go tease this other guy, then."

He doesn't call me when Penn State beats Ohio State because... well, Penn State hasn't beaten Ohio State in his time here.
