Penn State Cult (Joe Knew)

Sorry - it's been a while since I've had my fix of Penn State fans feeling entitled to something they don't really deserve.

Thread is about whether Penn State wins the national championship in 2025. OP says he's optimistic about 2025.
Some responses:
Then what would we complain about?

But here's the one that made me want to comment:
If we’re relying on the refs or lucky breaks, we’re so screwed.
See, the championship teams don't put their faith in the referees. Championship teams win despite players getting ejected for targeting against Nebraska, even though the league comes out later and says that that decision has been reversed. Championship teams win despite interceptions that are reversed because a defensive player breaks an NFL rule (not an NCAA rule) against Tennessee. Championship teams win despite interceptions ARE NOT reversed because the official doesn't call DPI against Tennessee. Championship teams score touchdowns when they have first-and-goal at home, against Ohio State. Or they score more than 0 offensive touchdowns.
Of course, Ohio State didn't do the things championship teams do against Oregon (Round 1) or against the cheaters, but Ohio State did the things championship teams do in the tournament. "Relying on the officials" wasn't one of the requirements.

As I said during that whole run, we did it DESPITE the officials.

You can make some people happy, all of the time.
You can make all people happy, some of the time.
You can make some people happy, none of the time.

Penn State fans are in that third group. They're talking about the schedule and how it could affect their chances at a national championship. One guy posts the schedule, then complains that they have 3 road games in October.
For those of you keeping track, there are 9 conference games. There will always be a 4/5 or 5/4 split on home/away. This year, Penn State has 4 home games. It's supposed to alternate, so it's just luck that this year is a 4/5 year. Usually, about the last week of September is a conference game, and then 4 weeks in October and 4 weeks in November are conference games. So, if you put 2 of those home games in October, and 2 in November, there's no home games for September. "OH NO!!! We start the conference schedule on the road again!!! Evil Big Ten!!!" So if you stick 1 home game in September, you get only 1 home game in either October or November.
Penn State fans demand that the Big Ten put the square peg in the round hole, and then cry when the Big Ten isn't able to do it.
