Right, so let's just hope the fucktards lose every game left on their schedule and stop hoping they win the fucking B1G.And for crying out loud.......why are people acting like Penn State would beat Wisconsin?

then they wouldn't have put us at 2 this week. Not saying I want it to happen, or think it should happen, but I guarantee they will try to select 4 conference champions.
Alabama is in if they win out (likely). Clemson is in and would jump Ohio State if they win out (likely). Washington is in and will jump Ohio State if they win out (not as likely as the other two, but still likely). That leaves 1 spot. Ohio State would have to be ahead of 2 conference champs (Big 12 and B1G) - If Penn State wins against Wisconsin, I can't see how tOSU would get in over them, because they beat tOSU head to head, and would be B1G champions.
I predict the final Ranking would be
1. Alabama
2. Clemson
3. Washington
4. Ped State
5. tOSU
6. Big 12 Champ
1 | Alabama |
2 | Ohio State |
3 | Michigan |
4 | Clemson |
5 | Louisville |
6 | Washington |
7 | Wisconsin |
8 | Penn State |
9 | Oklahoma |
10 | Colorado |

Of course they'd like to have champions. They stated on the record that they weigh it equally with other factors. Not saying I want it to happen, or think it should happen, but I guarantee they will try to select 4 conference champions.
They won't unless they move the game to State College. And for crying out loud.......why are people acting like Penn State would beat Wisconsin?
Look, it is true that in two years the committee has only selected conference Champions.Alabama is in if they win out (likely). Clemson is in and would jump Ohio State if they win out (likely). Bleh. Either move this to the playoff thread or show me some quotes from Penn State fans crying or being stupid or wishing JoePa were here to help them with a tough time in their lives.
Just like they wouldn't have put TCU #3 in 2014 only to drop them to #6.then they wouldn't have put us at 2 this week.
One of the reasons they even instituted the playoff was to make it more difficult to play for a NC without winning the conference. The bold is bold because it's brazenly bold. A 2 year window gives you special insight into a rotating committee that you guarantee?
Pessimism is the easiest human reaction. It takes less work. I'm guessing (see no guarantee because I have no insight) that the team and staff are working their collective assess off to win the last 2 regular season games as best they can to become involved into the playoffs, just in case your guarantee falls through.
Link? One of the reasons they even instituted the playoff was to make it more difficult to play for a NC without winning the conference.
I believe they made the playoff because the general consensus was that "everybody" wanted one. Didn't have anything to do with conference championships. One of the reasons they even instituted the playoff was to make it more difficult to play for a NC without winning the conference.
