gpaSummary from yesterday:
Event: Dr. Graham Spanier held a press conference where his lawyer was unable to answer the most basic questions about Dr. Graham Spanier's inaction for the last 14 years.
BWI interpretation: Dr. Graham Spanier is an incredibly bright guy and willing to speak the truth. He was once an evil bastard for trying to force Joe out but now he's awesome because he's the only one with balls to fight the power... long live Braveheart (Dr. Graham Spanier).
Event: According to Dr. Graham Spanier's legal team the IT department at PSU "lost" an entire archive of pre-2004 email because of a botched upgrade. The IT department apparently did not take a snapshot of the existing email in the event that they would need to back out the upgrade. No backup tapes exist for the archived email. It all disappeared just like Ray Gricar did. When the 2004 upgrade was complete the IT department told the users "hey all your previous email is gone... We didn't have a plan B so you'll just have to deal with losing all your data... not just the funny emails your friends sent you but all the stuff you need to do your job is gone FOREVER... sucks to be you..."
BWI interpretation: Email gone... free Jerry, put the statue back, restore the wins, file legal action against NCAA, jail Emmert, hire Jay, rename the stadium to Paterno Field, take the names off the damn jerseys!
Event: Dr. Graham Spanier said he was told it was "horseplay" and saw no reason to do anything. Dr. Graham Spanier said it was just this "Jerry" fellow being "Jerry" all the time not really knowing who the heck this "Jerry" guy was?
BWI interpretation: Never trust a ginger. Have Gereral McCombie track down Mike McQueary (AKA McQuaid) and waterboard him until he admits that he used the word "horseplay". If waterboarding doesn't work threaten a Ray Gricar type ending
Event: Dr. Graham Spanier said he he did even really know Jerry Sandusky even though they were pictured together multiple times from 1997-2011, on the same charitable foundations boards, shared the presidents box at Beaver Stadium (soon to be rename Paterno Field) through the years
BWI interpretation: Jerry was too busy with his "charity" by the time Dr. Graham Spanier came to power and it's very likely they two never met nor Dr. Graham Spanier even knew this "Jerry" guy was
Event: Dr. Graham Spanier's legal team questioned the authority of the president and BOT to accept the NCAA conditions.
BWI interpretation: For the love of God please fire every one of these spineless idiots. The 31 incompetent BOT member should be replaced with the following: Arabass4PSU, Lebrono, Ret. General McCombie, Kevin Slaten, 9fold, Obliviax, Southeastern PA Buck Hunter, Mack Daddy (all iterations), pjone, NYNY, Howie'81, Mixolydian, lionlurker, Whipples Dam, 91Joe95, ChiTownLion, WestSideLion, psu00, LundyPSU, fairgambit, SgtCarter, Nittany Ned2, LealandLoyal, Nashville Lion, PaRanger, Rip_E_2_Joe_PA, TJ, thecoolestfish, Mister Magoo and of course....... wait for it...............Tom McAndrew. Franco will share chairman responsibility with Shane Conlin. Adam T is persona non-Grata for his acceptance of the Freeh report. His spinal cord injury has rendered him spineless to fight the BOT

Have (some) pitty on the ignorant and weak of mind.....
Becasue I've read the Gospel I've steadfastly refused to get ****** into any discussions about PSU. Even when I was back in Scran'un recently, with several alumni, I tried to stay away but got ****** in. Some listened intently and at least said "REALLY !? I really need to read it. " Yes ! You REALLY do ! Or at least get out there on the interwebs and get more informed.
Last night my NFL fantasy team had its draft order selection at one of the local watering holes. I hadn't seen or talked to most of the other players since the Gospel was revealed. The long knives were out before I got the first beer to my lips. They're mostly tOSFU fans and it was a PSU bloodbath, at least until I went all Chuck Norris. I let them get on the moral high-horse and rant away. After they wore themselves out, I broke out the whoop-***.
The ingorance and stupidity out there is indescribable. It wasn't surprising coming from them, becase I knew more about Ink-Stink at tOSFU than they did.
Still when I left, I felt a little guilty, like a beat a 10yr old at chess. That lasted until I made the turn out of the parking lot.

Re: Have (some) pitty on the ignorant and weak of mind.....
As a rule now, whenever the subject comes up I simply ask if the person has read the entire 267 page Freeh report. If no, I don't even bother debating and just tell them to read it if they want to have an informed debate. If yes, I have a conversation with them and usually find out that they were lying, and meant they only read the summary or read a news article on it.
I had one guy try to tell me that Spanier says in the e-mails, "We need to run this by Joe." referring to the 2001 plan. It's truly sad how little the average person knows about the situation.

I wonder how many of them have actually read the report. I also wonder what the average reading comprehension ability is of the standard cultist...buckeyemania11;2198738; said:
